Went for afternoon walk around 1:00 pm and get attacked by magpie. I think it may be due to time normally our postman comes around this time in this area.. wont be going for walk in that area..
A large magpie swooped a rider ahead of me who was using the bike path. Repeated a half dozen swoops before turning its attention on me and swooping me twice as I rode up Little Dock Street. Occured around 2pm
I was driving my scooter and on my way to work, I suddenly realized magpie was touching my helmet 2-3 times and as I drove my scooter faster it run away. Next day at the same place same time (corner of Calan Road and Burrows road,St Peters, NSW) I was waiting to get the traffic signal clear and showed the same magpie probably waiting for me on the tree and as the signal was cleared and I started driving, it attacked me from the back. I avoided the same route for two days and I used the same route one more time and it attacked me again and I think that attack was more aggressive but luckily no injury.
I was riding a bike back from the shops with my son. The magpie attacked me on 3 or 4 attempts and got me in the ear from under my helmet. Blood pouring from my head. Needed to be taken to the doctors and because of where it got me I couldn't get stitches but instead had to have my ear supe rglued so it would mend
This morning I was swooped several times near the entrance to Mingara Club while getting on my bike.
About a fortnight ago at the same place I was repeatedly swooped and chased about 200 metres down the road until it finally gave up.
I have cable ties on my helmet.
