Magpie swooped down from a large elm tree on St Kilda Rd as I was walking along footpath towards the city, outside of Wesley College Junior Campus and pecked hard at the inner corner of my left lower eyelid with its beak closed. It has left a red mark and still sore to touch late tonight. It just missed my eye by mm so very lucky. I was wearing a black sleeveless top with not hat and carrying nothing in my hands. Gave me such a fright!

We were testing our drone that we just bought (not flying, just checking if it was working). The Magpie directly aimed at it. My partner stood up to make the bird flight away. We left right away.

I was swooped as I wheeled my bike past the doors of the Canberra Centre, near the Lorna Jane entry. I ran to the eaves of the nearby shops to avoid the bird. He waited in a nearby tree and as soon as I tried to leave he would swoop me again. This went on for more than half an hour! He would target other cyclists but as soon as he saw me step out into the open he would stop, fly back and attack me. A lovely lady eventually helped me by grabbing my bike and waving the bird away as he continued to try and swoop me. He followed me all the way around the corner, past NAB bank. Bistanders identified the bird as a Pied Currawong. This is the second time the same bird had attacked me. I have a couple of large bumps and sizable scratches on my head, it drew a fair bit of blood.

Got swooped crossing the road. The bugger got me on my face.
I've been swooped around this spot twice this year (but that was back in August) and a couple times over the last couple of years. This magpie is a super aggressive magpie &; goes for anyone.
He usually swoops from late August - early October. I haven't seen him for a few weeks, so it was weird that I was attacked late November.
I've made a few requests to the council to have him removed as he is super aggressive and goes for everyone. Unfortunately they were no help :(

Swooped several times and I stopped and started walking. Kept looking at him while he sat on cable. After walking about 100m he came back and swooped even I was still walking. Walked another 100m then he didn't follow anymore. Very aggressive and persistent fellow, swooped about 10 times together
