Magpie attack on Walker - 83 Belmont Rd, Kenwick WA 6107
I was not personally attacked but witnessed today’s attack and another one yesterday in the exact same spot about an hour earlier in the day compared to today’s attack. Having personally witnessed two attacks in two days in the exact same location I felt it worthwhile lodging them.

Magpie attack on Walker - 73 Grubb Ave, Traralgon VIC 3844
I was out walking when suddenly a magpie flew down at me. I looked up and realised he was circling and coming back for a second attempt. I only had my phone with me and no head protection, so tried to get away from trees to avoid being near a nest it was protecting. My plan didn’t work and it managed to swoop me 6 times in all. I crossed the road and looked for a house where a person might be home, but ended up under someone’s front verandah. I was going to call my husband to pick me up, when a car with two ladies who had seen me being swooped stopped and very kindly drove me home.

Magpie attack on Runner - 11 Camden Gardens, North Turramurra NSW 2074
I was running on a fire track that connects St Ives Chase to North Turramurra and out of nowhere was attacked, presumably by a swooping magpie that I never saw. I received multiple lacerations on my face and head, the primary cut just above my right eyebrow.

Another cycling attack here after avoiding the area. Plenty of people walking so seems to attack cyclists. Two birds this time. Sustained a dislocated knee after coming off my bike hard as a result.

Magpie attack on Cyclist - 7 Elizabeth MacArthur Dr, Bella Vista NSW 2153
Heading north on bike path alongside Old Windsor Road (near Francesco Crescent Reserve) first swoop clipped back of helmet and nipped me on the left ear (drawing blood). Magpie made about another 4 swoops as I rode slowly/walked out of the area. The Strava segment makes reference to the swooping magpie.

Magpie attack on Cyclist - Argyle Ave, Chelsea VIC 3196
I was punched hard in the left cheekbone from behind causing a deep 2cm scratch and drawing blood. It then came back for a second hit on the same side adding an extra puncher above (more blood!). Three days later my cheek is still swollen and bruised... I don’t think the bird was a magpie but it is very aggressive and very dangerous at such a popular location!
