Riding along langton crescent towards the bridge. Without warning the magpic hit me 4-5 times impacting the helmet with ute a bit of force until I was well under the pedestrian bridge,

Riding down the hill, and the bird come out of the trees on the right, two swoops, drawing blood inside the ear and outside the ear. Persistent little fellow!
Injured:Yes
Had grown a bit casual as I had been swooped about six times already today. All pretty lame efforts as if they knew the season was over. So was really surprised when this chap managed to give my ear a good nip.
My helmet is nude - but think it will go hairy very soon. Or maybe buy a stuffed eagle and wear it on my shoulder!
Injured:Yes
Very persistent magpie - if you're riding/walking through the area, it's best to go along via the shoreline near the lake, rather than the road. Very aggressive magpie in the area. Doesn't like walkers, runners or cyclists
Injured:No
Was cycling through the new park and the magpie came out of nowhere. Didn't hear it coming at all. Bashed the back of my head a few times then got hold of my left ear. Then went for my right. Back to my left ear and even got hold of a piercing. Followed me for about 100m. Left ear is cut and bruised. Nasty little bugger. Right at a little playground too. Informed council, signs will be going up soon.
