Aggressive magpie with large defence area. 3 consecutive swoops today as I cycled past; contact not made. Passed the same magpie on 2 separate occasions last week, when it made contact with others (without injury).

Magpie attack on Walker - 1 Chifley Pl, Chifley ACT 2606
As I was walking with my pram across the road from the IGA to the park with the swing, a magpie swooped me over and over until I ran under cover. I saw the same magpie swoop another person shortly afterwards. Then as I was crossing away from the shops on Eggleston Crescent towards Coghlan Crescent, I was swooped again by another magpie.

Dismounted bike to walk past magpie, still swooped four times. Remounted bike and magpie swooped again while waiting at lights. Pecked/bitten underneath helmet on back of head.

Saw it in tree watching and passed under it; thought I was safe. Attacked from behind landing on my back and claw or beak causing 3cm cut in my neck. Avoided this spot since!

Psycho maggi was waiting for me on the ground, and unlike all his friends, didn't clap his wings, but instead took his time to get good aim. Attacked twice - first time drew blood on the back of my neck and the second, drew blood under 2 layers of gloves after i put my hand up.

Attacked multiple times. FIrst three swoops connected with the back of my head just under my helmet. The following two swoops connected on my right side of my head. One on the helmet, the last hitting the side of my head drawing blood from my ear despite it being covered by a beanie! Very aggressive!
