Walking to shopping centre after having a few drinks for the NRL and the little ****** swooped me and took a beauty of a chuck out of my head... Was a pluva though which is 2 times as bad
Alarm calls. Bird flew down and struck my helmet. Tried cycling slow (didn't help), cycling really fast (helped, probably because it couldn't catch up with me).
Chased me all the way down William Street, only stopping for a moments rest on a high power line and diving back down at me numerous times. Got so close I could hear the clip of its mouth in my ear.
1st time attacked here. brushed some branches with my helmet coming from the traffic lights so that might have upset him as i heard him ";say"; something to me under the trees. came at me twice from the back going down the hill.
Magpie swooped three times at a postman delivering mail to the apartment complex. It did not hit him. I walked through the area and was not swooped at all nor another person who had walked through at that time.
This magpie may be targeting only people on bikes.
Very aggressive bird located near the cemetary, across the road from the Shellharbour Club. Makes contact and comes at the side of your face when cycling. If I hadn't had protection around my ears, he would have injured me.
