I was rolling up to the Whitmore Street Park on my Bike. As I approached the park, Maggy swooped me once, and then landed in a tree just above me. I was going to the park so I hopped off the bike and took my helmet off. It didn't swoop again, but it was definitely giving me the evil eye.
It%u2019s like December, what is the matter with this stupid bird?
The magpie hit the back of my helmet as I was out of the saddle going up the hill. Doesn't it know that the attack season is over? Does it have a second clutch? Was it angry with me for not voting for the magpie as bird of the year (it won without my support). Or did it not like my new helmet? I have been up this stretch of road many times in the past few months without an attack.
magpie attacked me for 150m...this bird started in early july and still going...tried to bite me but saved by cable ties on helmet, however it did rip a small hole in my t shirt...bloody amazing
Swooped several times and I stopped and started walking. Kept looking at him while he sat on cable. After walking about 100m he came back and swooped even I was still walking. Walked another 100m then he didn't follow anymore. Very aggressive and persistent fellow, swooped about 10 times together
