Magpie attack on Cyclist - 173 Varsity Parade, Varsity Lakes QLD 4227
This is no about the 5th time I have been swooped from this location. I have been very careful to try and avoid going past the nest, and when I see him, making eye contact. However, he blind sided me yesterday. Luckily only one swoop this time. The nest appear to be a tree on the other side of the road. This morning I witnessed 4 people get swooped one after the other, with one poor guy chased all the way along Varsity Parade, almost getting knocked down by a car in the process of crossing the road whilst under distraction.

Magpie attack on Walker - 146 Goodfellows Rd, Murrumba Downs QLD 4503
Was walking out from beneath the big jacaranda on the corner of Esperance and Goodfellow, and then it attacked. Not too vicious, but quite persistent, and rather wide-ranging. Wearing my polarised sunglasses atop my head seemed to discourage it a little bit.

Magpie attack on Walker - 367 St Vincents Rd, Banyo QLD 4014
Swooped 3 times by a magpie while out for a walk with my baby in a stroller. I didn't see or hear the bird until it swooped. Luckily my 5mth old daughter was asleep & protected in the stroller so she didn't hear my screams. We made a hasty run down St Vincent's Rd for a much needed coffee to recover
