A Butcher Bird (grey) swooped and snapped about a dozen times as I rode out of the Coomera train station and down the bus driveway. I got off the bike and kept walking to Foxwell Road, but it kept swooping aggressively, even while walking and staring at it.

Just after I had climbed Anita St, this magpie was waiting for me in a tree on the left of Kadumba St. Swooped once, brushing the helmet. Got off the bike and kept my eye on him back in his tree puffed up with pride. Walked on safely to the next corner when I remounted the bike.
