‘Dirk’ as I’ve called him swooped me after riding my bike through the park and hit the back of my helmet half a dozen times or so. I spoke calmly to him and he relented after I sped away riding close to trees with low branches. Not sure if it’s the same bird as previous years.
I was riding my bike exiting lake monger at the Leederville corner when this Magpie just dived out of a tree. It followed me till the intersection, swooping repeatedly at very low altitudes and once striking my helmet.

Bird took multiple swoops while I was heading to the bus stop at Errina RD.
Managed to get out of the swooping zone unscathed.
Swoops occurred at 5.50am
Magpie is patrolling the dental clinics general area, willing to attack as far as the pelican crossing.
It attempted to swoop me from behind, then from the side a couple of times quite aggressive. Then after a bit crissed the road to find alternate path, proceeded to reattack me. A man told me he'd been swooped as well.
Swooped twice to the back of the head. While out running this morning. Caused bleeding from a cut sustained. Magpie remained on the grass after 2nd attack. Eyeballed magpie until i was clear of the area then continued running.
