Magpie attack on Cyclist - 2 Belrose Entrance, Kallaroo WA 6025
Swooped from behind at least 3 times, when I finally was able to safely dismount from the bike. No contact was made. Stopped and looked at the bird and he glared back, then eventually the bird left. A very nice looking magpie. Hope he settles down soon.

Magpie attack on Cyclist - 120 McBryde Cres, Wanniassa ACT 2903
Travelling from Erindale towards McKinnon St, magpie came from McKinnon St direction and attacked from behind, swooping 3 or 4 times. Did not come in very close but followed me and swooped until I was past McKillop College.

Magpie attack on Walker - 195 Antill St, Downer ACT 2602
This is a Currawong attack but I'm logging it here in the interests of public safety/sanity. This bird is quite aggressive and swooped me four times, making contact each time. It then moved on to the jogger running 10 metres behind me. This bird is busy and has drawn blood from other passers by. Canberra - you are never going to be safe!

Magpie attack on Cyclist - 92 Pearse St, Keperra QLD 4054
Attacked from behind as i reached the crest of the hill to enter the roundabout. Went straight for the neck - scratched but didn't break skin. Very aggressive. Swooped multiple times and tried to go for the ear when we tried to turn back. Only stopped swooping when I walked about 50 - 100m away. This bird has been attacking since mid August and hasn't stopped yet.

Jonny safe from cycling

I faced off against the M7 magpie and won!

I was on my usual 60km Sunday cycle route, cycling minding my own business when suddenly there was a snapping at my ear. I put my foot to the pedals and sped up, he came back for more and eventually gave up after about 150m.
