Magpie attack on Runner - Connolly Drive, Butler WA 6036
Going for my Sunday morning run, taking a different route to normal. A magpie swoops me 3 times, I did not receive any injury but it scared the crap outta me. I changed direction into housing. I was on edge for the rest of my run, avoiding any areas with trees.

Magpie attack on Walker - 32 Marlboro Road, Swan View WA 6056
On 12 December a small magpie flew directly at me from the ground about 10 metres away and swerved at the last minute. I assumed it panicked. Today (13th) it flew away from me as I approached. It perched on a branch and from about 30 metres flew directly at me again, again swerving at the last minute. It then swooped from behind 2 more times. I thought swooping season was over but this one came head on twice. I've walked past this place almost daily and only this week this one is swooping. Been swooped elsewhere in the area but that was during September & October.

Magpie attack on Walker - 69-71 Lakewood Drive, Burpengary QLD 4505
Several magpies protecting their nests at the bottom of our garden swoop our two youngest children almost every time they go outside. They have been attacked a number of times although not injured greatly (just landing on their heads with their claws out) although it is only a matter of time before there is an injury. The psychological effect on the children is more damaging as they are frightened to go outside now...

Magpie attack on Cyclist - 60 N Beck Dr, Condon QLD 4815
The little bugger patrols both sides of the road and is highly aggressive ...will annoyingly give chase for a good 20m or more. Nests somewhere near the roundabout entrance of Carlyle Gardens. My toddler was in her seat at the time, glad it went for my head. I have avoided cycling in the area for a long time since the attack, NP in my SUV lol...bring it on birdy!

Magpie attack on Cyclist - 61 Furlong Road, Cairnlea VIC 3023
Red wattlebird - This bird has been increasingly more of a nuisance for the past fortnight. Started off with one swoop over about 20 metres miles above my head, today it swooped about four times over 200 metres, just touching my ear as it went past.

Magpie attack on Walker - 63A New South Head Road, Vaucluse NSW 2030
First time I heard of this (or rather was faced by it) - a bird took off from the sidewalk seemingly flying past my head, and then went straight for my eye with its beak! Completely unprovoked and without any young ones visible around - ended up having a bleeding eyelid. These should be actively protected against by the council!
