I was walking with my toddler yesterday and a Magpie tried swooping at him, then today I walked a little further down from the spot the Magpie swooped at my son, but it clearly it was not far enough as it swooped at my toddler again and kept trying until I got to a safe enough distance.
Thought I was safe in November magpie swooped me three or four times Attacked my helmet mostly No injuries but I realised when it was over I had subjected the retirement village across the street to some choice expletives delivered at the top of my lungs
This is to report that the (in)famous McGraths Hill magpie at the corner of Windsor Rd and Groves Ave is no more. Apparently he's been ";relocated";.
In previous years I've been attacked well into December. My wife was speaking to someone from the Hawkesbury Council who said he's been moved.
Three rides through his (previous) patch - no strikes. Good riddance, you vicious little f***er.
I was running, heard a click sound... for the first time neglected it, just few second after another click sound and Magpie approach over my head... I continued running... it started following!!! I shooed and ran faster and reached my apartment (Thank God! my apartment was close by)
