Magpie attack on Runner - 68 Columbia Pkwy, Piara Waters WA 6112
There has been a family of magpies living in the vicinity of this park for several years. They are not overly aggressive but cause problems for walkers, cylists, joggers etc.. with frequent swoops. The territory is the northern corner of a park adjacent to Columbia Parkway and Wright Road and they will go out of their way to swoop on you. The area is generally easy to avoid though it is right in the middle of the most picturesque spots in the suburb.

Magpie attack on Walker - 1125 Rochedale Rd, Rochedale South QLD 4123
I was walking up Rochdale Road, near Pindari Street, I was swooped multiple times by a crow, didn't know they also did this. It followed me and continued to swoop for approx 30 metres, I kept looking up at it which seemed to deter it from making contact each time it swooped down close.

Magpie attack on Person - 20 The Strand, Moonee Ponds VIC 3039
Magpie in Queen's Park Moonee Ponds has attacked my daughter on several occasions walking to and from school while scootering near the memorial. Attacks more than once and continued to do so even when my umbrella went up. Council asked me to log this incident however, they are apparently not empowered to action further. Please be careful as it is very frightening.

Magpie attack on Walker - 104B Brighton Rd, Scarborough WA 6019
Walking with my 6 year old who was riding his bike along the lane adjacent to Scarborough Primary, a magpie swooped him three times and was menacing. The magpie waited on a power pole on Brighton Road while we went to the shops, was still on the pole 5 minutes later when we came out. We walked a different route home but it remembered us a swooped another couple of times, even coming horizontally under the low canopy of a tree to get to us. Dad more frightened than son!
