Magpie attack on Walker - 20-34 Levine St, Evatt ACT 2617
My 4 year old daughter has been swooped 4 times in the past three days. It has been in the same spot (within 20 meters). The bird has made contact with her head but the beak has not made contact. Today she was attacked from behind as she approached the front door of our house. The other times have been when the bird is on the ground and come up at her face and the other time it attacked her from the branch of a near by tree. Last year my son was swooped and pecked in the face by a magpie in the same spot.

My 2year old was playing in the park and a magpie swooped down and pecked him on the head. He started running and the magpie swooped on him again and I was able to shoo it away with screams and waving hands furiously. He was wearing a hat so it protected his head from a serious cut.
