Magpie attack on Cyclist - 2 Cassowary Dr, Burleigh Waters QLD 4220

Swoops every morning and every afternoon on my daily commute. No contact yet, but keeps coming up beside me and snapping beak just beside my ear.

This one got my all through October so I had to change my route. He does appear to have stopped now as I rode the route a couple of times this week.

He came at me on both the Bermuda St side and on Cassowary. No injury but quite persistent at smashing into my helmet from the top and behind. I nearly rode into the front of the bridge barrier while being distracted by him.

Yes, but on the other side of the bridge from the cut through. He usually starts swooping me after the bridge when heading toward Christine Ave. and usually quits swooping right before the bridge when heading up to the cut through.

He comes from the trees between Cassowary and Bermuda, so I am not sure if being on Bermuda would be any better. Recommend sunglasses for both of you -- just to be safe.

He's been swooping me twice a day but did not this morning.

Is this where the pathway ends on Bermuda Street and you cut into Cassowary? I also ride this route often with my 4 year old so will try and avoid if possible. Thinking if we stay on Bermuda we might be safer.
