A Magpie-lark has established territory along this stretch of the Lilydale-Warburton Rail Trail. There is aggressive swooping along the trail immediately following the overpass bridge (crossing Maroondah Highway) going towards Mt. Evelyn. This bird has been actively swooping for at least two weeks thus far; I've been repeatedly swooped every time I've traversed this stretch of the trail (on bicycle).
