Walking east along Charles Street, from the Barton Street end. Wearing a hoodie (cold morning). Was wondering would a magpie swoop, and yes it did, though rather early for the season. It landed on roof of garage in front of me. Removed hoodie from head, stepped backwards to Barton Street, and then walked north along Barton. Had a look for any other magpies.
