Magpie attack on Cyclist - 22 Binalong Rd, Pendle Hill NSW 2145

Injured:No

Lots of chirping, and not too close to my head, but multiple swoops. I'd say the main risk for this one is if it distracts you while you're negotiating the intersection in traffic on busy Binalong. Take care, and I'd say avoid the area for the next month or so if you're tired or wobbly.

I had a similar experience at the roundabout too. I agree the main risk there is traffic when trying to get away from the bird. The Magpie followed me all the way 50m down Bolgara Rd from the roundabout. I also noticed that there is a Magpie on Binalong road that was active in the evening between 7:15pm-7:45pm (approx) when I had gone out for a run. I was suprised cause it was getting dark and it was swooping/flying close to cars when they stop at the lights!!! I think one of the Magpie on Binalong Rd is a bit of a menace. So take care
