Cycled to cricket ground, swooped en-route and after leaving. Same Magpie was aggressive and staring whilst at grounds for approx. 45mins. Upon leaving Magpie swooped several times and hung just above helmet for approx. 800m. Attempted to stop and walk but a collision ensured. Minor Injuries.
Attacked while walking!! This was one aggressive bird. Swooped at me from behind to right ear drawing blood &; trying to grab my sunglass arm, then repeated attack 3 times while I attempted to save myself by running. Also got my husband in the same area but on left ear. This bird is a devious, aggressive, coward!!! Avoid at all costs.
This one is at it again. It has learned how to attack ears! Got me 3 times as I went at speed along path between rail/bike bridge and the road. It has a slightly less aggressive mate.
No blood so marked as not injured, although it did hurt.
He is always there, sees me coming for my usual run. Gets on the ground 40m in front, then flies up to the electricity pole, waits for me to be under and then usually swoops 4-6 times.
Walking the dog with my partner, coming up to a tree and about 3 plovers came out and started attacking so we ran, a magpie then joined in the assault. Park on the opposite side of the road most likely a nesting area.
