A juvenile magpie has started swooping along Torrens Rd. Watches for cyclists while perched high on a stobie pole, then swoops 3-4 times when one passes. Harmless so far, but might be one to watch out for next season when he's fully grown!

I got swooped whilst riding my bike heading west on Hartley Road. The bird made contact with my left ear but did not injure me. I'm pretty sure it was Magpie- Lark (Murray Magpie known to us in SA).
