The magpies have a nest in the laneway between the houses. People have been chasing the male and throwing stuff at him when he has tried to swoop them, so is even more aggressive than ever. Avoid the area altogether if possible, otherwise keep facing him and stay calm then he will just watch you. He is over 20 years old.
