The bird was perched on a fence, and I was walking towards it without initially noticing. When it saw me, it flew away, but seconds later, it swooped down and attacked me on my head....

Walking to Wenty Leagues Club and swooped on footpath once. Turned around and eyeballed it waving arms above head and aborted second swoop attempt.

Swooped for maybe 50m travelling south on the bike path. Eye contact didn't help at all, but waving my arm above my head did. Pretty late in the season it seems. Rode through here a week...
