Also swooped by this magpie - 3 August. I have taken to wearing a time trial helmet to protect the side of my head. Just as well as he hit me hard in the side of the head.

Swung by again this week to see if old mate is still angry. Definitely is! Attacks both sides of the road. I'd recommend using the Drysdale Bypass, then cutting in on Princess Street for the time being. Edit: Didn't know you could update previous swoops. Count this as a warning for the other side of the road.
