Second time a magpie has swooped me and my dogs at this corner. This time it came out of nowhere and touched my dogs head, thankfully no damage. There's also a non-magpie that seems to imitate the swooping, it's a smaller bird that maybe acts as a warning system for the magpie or just copies its behaviour, like doing a warning swoop then sitting and sharpening its beak menacingly on the street sign while glaring at you! I wonder if it's a swooping school and class was in session today.
