I was standing at Platform 9 at Richmond Station when I noticed a small magpie a metre away from me, just chilling on the platform. Because of its tiny size, I didn’t pay much attention to it. Suddenly, it flew straight into my eye. I didn’t see it coming, but thanks to my quick reflexes I managed to close my eye just in time. Otherwise, I could have been blinded for life.
