Very aggressive magpie, hit my helmet on his first swoop. The second time he swooped I had already gotten off my bike to walk out of his territory, I was looking straight at him and he glided right at my face, he never veered away, I had to dodge him. Looking at them usually deters further swooping, never experienced one flying at my face before. Path on the east side of Manuka oval about 25 meters from the corner of Currie Crescent and Manuka Circuit.
